This pea milk was definitely a surprise. If you’re thinking ‘weird’, I did too at first. But it worked brilliantly in this recipe. It was smooth and slightly creamy, providing the perfect consistency for this smoothie.
Makes 2 medium tumblers
350ml pea m'lk
1 small frozen avocado
Frozen slices of half a banana
Large handful frozen mixed berries
Handful baby spinach leaves
1 heaped tbsp smooth peanut butter
1 scoop chocolate protein powder
Few fresh mint leaves
Per Portion: approx. 521 kcal, 26g protein, 35g fat, 20g carbohydrate

Blitz all the ingredients in a high powered blender until smooth. Divide between two glasses and top with the fresh bluebs & mint.
The fresh bluebs were the perfect addition to this as they added a slight pop of tartness to what was a beautiful sweet and rich smoothie.
