Your outcomes in fitness or even in life are a lagging or delayed measure of your habits
A lot of people if not everyone listening will have financial goals, career goals or fitness goals, you want to make more money, have a better job, or lose weight but in reality, your current situation is a lagging measure of your habits. For example your bank account is measure of your financial habits, your weight is a lagging measure of your eating habits, your knowledge or lack of is lagging measure of you’re reading and learning habits.
Your habits is what needs to change for you to achieve your end goal. We think the thing that needs to change is the account or the gym or the number on the scale but its not it’s the habits that lead to them.
